Sam Jaarsma

Sam Jaarsma has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Starting in 1993 at Reed Elsevier Amsterdam, Sam worked as a Programmer, Support Team Lead, and Project Manager. From 1998 to 2001, Sam was a Project Management Consultant at Ordina Finance. From 2002 to 2004, Sam worked as an IT Project Manager at Grupo Amengual, overseeing various IT aspects such as servers, databases, and networking. In 2004, Sam became a Project Management Consultant at GMT exterior yacht finishing. From 2005 to 2007, Sam held the role of Strategic Alliances Manager at Hotelopia, responsible for implementing alliances and managing both business and IT aspects. Since 2007, Sam has been working at MTS Incoming/OTS Globe/AxisData as an IT B2B Director, leading teams and improving B2B interfaces. Most recently, in 2023, Sam joined Chain4Travel as the Head of Standards.

Sam Jaarsma attended RSG Magister Alvinus from 1977 to 1983, where they obtained an A level degree with a focus on maths, physics, chemistry, biology, English, and Dutch. From 1984 to 1988, they attended NHL Hogeschool and earned a degree in Ing Automobile Design. Additionally, Sam Jaarsma has certifications in Agile foundation from an unspecified institution, ITIL Service Manager from ITIL, and Prince 2 project manager from Prince 2.
