Amir Ganiev

Amir Ganiev is a Software Engineer II at Chainalysis, with a focus on the Data Cloud Platform since April 2025. Prior to this role, Amir developed scalable Go microservices at Wattpad from June 2022 to April 2025, optimizing AWS EKS infrastructure and leveraging AWS OpenSearch for high-volume search capabilities. Earlier experience includes a Front End Developer and Data Engineer Internship at Wattpad, where Amir constructed machine learning data pipelines and enhanced content understanding using AWS and Apache Spark. Additionally, Amir interned at Crowdmark, creating data visualizations and implementing automated tests, and served as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, analyzing data related to autonomous vehicle interactions. Amir holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and graduated from Bishop's College School.
