Malte Möser

Malte Möser is a Senior Software Engineer at Chainalysis Inc. since December 2021, specializing in blockchain protocol research and analysis of smart contract blockchains and privacy-focused cryptocurrencies. Prior to this role, Möser earned a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University, with research focused on the security, privacy, and regulation of cryptocurrencies. Additional experience includes a Risk and Financial Advisory Internship at Deloitte, where blockchain protocol analysis and reliability testing were conducted, as well as a Research Assistant position at the University of Münster that involved combating organized financial crime with virtual currencies. Earlier experiences include a Research Internship at Cornell University, where Bitcoin Covenants and Vaults were developed, along with various research assistant roles at the University of Münster. Möser holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the same institution.
