Matthew Helmke

Matthew Helmke is a seasoned technical writer and educator with extensive experience in cybersecurity and open-source software. Currently serving as a Staff Technical Writer at Chainguard, Helmke focuses on creating secure container images and libraries for large-scale distributed systems. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona, Helmke teaches applied technology, complementing a career that includes roles at Adobe, StarTree, Grafana Labs, Gremlin, Red Hat, and Pearson Education. Contributions to the open-source community as a volunteer and various independent writing and editing projects reflect a commitment to knowledge sharing and technical communication.
