Ryan Carlson

Ryan Carlson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in marketing and strategy, currently serving as President at Chainguard since September 2023, where responsibilities include leading the Go to Market function and building sales, marketing, and customer success teams. As a Partner at The Operator Network since July 2019, Ryan empowers entrepreneurs through investment and mentorship. Previously, Ryan held key marketing roles at Wiz, including Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer and Advisor to the CEO, and at Okta, where contributions ranged from leading the marketing team through the IPO to launching startup initiatives within the company. Earlier experience includes roles in product management and marketing at Redwood Systems. Ryan holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
