Nasaruddin A. Bakar

Nasaruddin was appointed the COO of MASwings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), in November 2020.

No stranger to the MH family, Nasaruddin started his career with Malaysia Airlines and brings with him more than 27 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has since undertaken various management portfolio including Human Factors Manager in the Flight Operations department, Chief Flying Instructor and Head of Training in MAB Academy.

Before his latest appointment, Nasaruddin played an instrumental role in the Transformation Management Office as General Manager to lead the MAG Business Process Management and MAG Sustainability as Project Director.

Apart from his aviation flying experience, Nasaruddin has also served as the Co-Chairman of Asia and Australasia Human Factors Safety Info, and Innovation Garage Director together with Khazanah Nasional and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.
