Matt (Chunkai) Yang is a Senior Software Engineer at Chainlink Labs, where work focuses on building the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol since March 2023. Prior to this, Matt co-founded TokenFunder, leading the development of Canada’s first regulatory-approved on-chain securities issuance and settlement platform from August 2018 to January 2023. Previous experience includes roles at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer II, where contributions were made to big data catalog APIs and microservices, as well as internships at Facebook, Microsoft, and several other companies. Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2016.
