Yossi Levanoni has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Yossi is currently employed at Chainlink Labs as the VP of Engineering, where they are responsible for building the foundation of the Verifiable Web and hiring software engineers and managers. Prior to this, Yossi worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in multiple roles, including Director of Engineering, Relational Database Engines, Senior Software Development Manager, Head of Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB), and Senior Software Development Manager, Head of DynamoDB Storage. In these positions, they were involved in various aspects of software development and team management. Before joining AWS, Yossi worked at Microsoft as a Principal Engineering Manager, where they led the development of core Intelligent Systems Services. Yossi also contributed to projects such as Bing's project Satori and C++ AMP. Yossi started their career at Pitron as a developer, where they worked on software solutions and developed algorithms. Yossi also served as a teaching assistant at Technion - Computer Science Department, where they contributed to the curriculum and organized coding competitions. Prior to that, Yossi worked as a researcher at IBM, focusing on advanced Java garbage collection algorithms. Overall, Yossi has a strong background in software engineering, team leadership, and research.
Yossi Levanoni obtained a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997. Yossi then pursued an MSc in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it from 1998 to 2001.
