E.L. Jorgensen

E.L. Jorgensen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They most recently served as the Head of Behavioral Science at ChaiOne starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a UX Lead - Employee Relations from January 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining ChaiOne and Amazon, E.L. Jorgensen worked at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for several years. They held various positions, including Head of Research Department from April 2016 to June 2022, Director of People Analytics from September 2013 to April 2016, and Director of Analytics & Talent Management from January 2011 to September 2013. In these roles, they were responsible for leading research initiatives, providing insights and strategy guidance, and managing talent within the organization.

Prior to their time at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, E.L. Jorgensen worked as the Managing Partner at Colloquium from February 2008 to December 2019. They also served as the Director of Analytics & Effectiveness at Talent Plus, Inc. from July 2006 to January 2011, and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from January 2006 to January 2011.

E.L. Jorgensen earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology & Interpersonal Communication from Southern Utah University. Following this, they attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology. They further pursued their education at the same institution, eventually earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociology.
