Yuichi Fujiki

Software Architect at ChaiOne

Yuichi Fujiki has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Yuichi began their career at Stanford University as a visiting scholar in 2003. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a software developer at NEC, where they were involved in the development and testing of administrative and monitoring applications for mission-critical and enterprise systems. In 2006, they joined the University of Houston as a research assistant, leading the development of a mobile fitness application and conducting statistical analysis of accelerometer signals and physical activity data. In 2009, they worked as an iPhone application developer at ChaiOne, and in 2010, they joined IBM as a software developer, focusing on infrastructural applications for computer vision research. In 2011, they worked at Idea Integration as an iOS developer before returning to ChaiOne in 2012 as a lead iOS developer and software architect. At ChaiOne, they developed enterprise and consumer iOS applications for renowned companies and also contributed to backend development using Ruby on Rails and .NET. Since 2019, they have been working as a senior software engineer at ShopBack.

Yuichi Fujiki received their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Kyoto University in the years 1996 to 2000. Yuichi then pursued their Master of Science degree in Information Science at Kyoto University from 2000 to 2002. Finally, Yuichi completed their education with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Houston, studying from 2006 to 2011.
