Michael Suen has a diverse and extensive work experience in various positions related to information technology. Michael most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at Chair-man Mills Corp. (CMMC) starting in October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive IT Consultant at Marc Anthony Cosmetics Ltd. where they were responsible for implementing IT general control audits and setting up a new IT help desk portal.

Before that, Michael held the position of Vice President of Information Technology at OUTFRONT Media Canada from April 2017 to July 2018. During their time there, they built sales forecasting systems, upgraded the network infrastructure, and replaced an outdated PBX system with a cloud-based PBX.

From 2016 to 2017, Michael served as the Chief Information Officer at Cieslok Media. In this role, they built business intelligence tools to improve sales conversion rates and collaborated with the CFO on an ERP software selection project. Michael also implemented a cloud-based system that replaced the file server with Dropbox for business.

Prior to that, Michael worked as the Chief Information Officer at alphabroder Canada from 2013 to 2016. Michael successfully implemented a new ERP system and led the migration of Movex to Infor M3. Michael also established new data centers in Canada and Hong Kong to support global operations.

Michael's experience in the IT field dates back to 1984 when they started as an Information Systems Manager at Hotel Lisboa. Michael went on to hold various managerial positions, including EDP Manager at the Royal Garden Hotel and Regional Information Systems Manager at Sheraton Hotel Asia Pacific.

Overall, Michael Suen has a strong background in IT management, with a focus on implementing new systems, improving business operations, and leveraging technology to drive growth and efficiency.

Michael Suen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Science from The University of Hong Kong. Michael attended the university from 1979 to 1982. In 2013, Michael Suen pursued further education at the Schulich School of Business - York University, where they obtained a Master Certificate in Project Management. This program lasted for one year.
