Hari Nivasan

Hari Nivasan is a professional with extensive experience in materials development and engineering, currently serving as the Manager for Materials Development (Polymers) at Chakr Innovation since October 2022, focusing on battery development in metal-air technologies. Prior roles include Senior Chemist in R&D at Behr Paint Company, where new water-based floor coatings were developed, and Lead Engineer at Roche, specializing in material compatibility for medical devices. Hari has also worked as a Senior Engineer in technical services at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, providing expertise on coagulated dispersion PTFE. Earlier experience includes a role as Chief Placement Coordinator at the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology, internships, and in-plant training focused on heat exchangers and distillation columns. Educational qualifications include a Certified Packaging Engineer from the Indian Institute of Packaging, an MTech in Polymer/Plastics Technology from CIPET, and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.
