Catherine Huang

Catherine Huang is an experienced software engineer currently working at Chalk since June 2025 and previously at Airtable from August 2022 to June 2025, focusing on team performance and architecture. Catherine served as the Head Teaching Assistant for the upper division course Probability and Random Processes at UC Berkeley's Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences department and also held the position of Teaching Assistant for Discrete Math and Probability. Additionally, Catherine contributed to research at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research lab, iterating on reinforcement learning algorithms, and participated in the REU program at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics, where a guide on graph spectral clustering was developed. Catherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, completing the program in 2022.
