Dr Kate Chhatwal OBE

Dr. Kate Chhatwal OBE is a highly accomplished educational leader currently serving as the Chief Executive of Challenge Partners, where Dr Kate has successfully guided the organization to work with over 575 schools and more than 130 school trusts across England since 2018. In addition to this role, Dr. Chhatwal is an Independent Member of the Governance and Risk Committee for parkrun, Non-Executive Director at SchoolOnline, and Independent Chair of the Liverpool Priority Education Investment Area Board. Previously, Dr. Chhatwal has held prominent positions, including Trustee and Chair of the Education Committee at STEP Academy Trust, where significant growth was accomplished, and Co-Founder and Vice Chair of the Leading Women's Alliance, aimed at empowering women in educational leadership. Dr. Chhatwal also has extensive experience in governance and advisory roles with organizations such as ImpactEd and Music Masters, alongside a robust academic background highlighted by a PhD in Social and Political Science from the European University Institute.
