Vikas Routhu

Vikas Routhu is an Operations Engineer at Chalmers St. Consulting since June 2023, previously serving as an Industrial Engineer in Residence - Process Consultant at Wheels, LLC from January to June 2023. Vikas also held the position of Graduate Assistant at Northern Illinois University from January to May 2023 and worked as a Student Supervisor at Aramark from August 2021 to May 2022. Vikas gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Tata Motors, where various Lean Manufacturing tools were learned and applied, and assisted in the assembly and structural maintenance of parts for Heavy Commercial Vehicles. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Project Manager at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, focusing on six sigma and geometric analysis using a Co-ordinated Measuring Machine. Vikas holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Malla Reddy Engineering College.
