Graham McDermott

Graham McDermott is an experienced professional currently serving as a Principal Research Analyst at Chambers and Partners since September 2022, and as a Consultant at Kidd Aitken Legal Marketing Ltd. since February 2022. Previously, Graham contributed to Chambers and Partners from March 2016 to February 2022 as a Researcher/Proofreader, focusing on creating bespoke reports for international law firms. A freelance writer, editor, and translator between June 2012 and March 2016, Graham specialized in Japanese to English translation. Earlier roles include Editor at the Society for Testing English Proficiency (STEP), School Links Coordinator at the British Council, and teaching positions in English as a Foreign Language at Grandom Academy and Kamiyabe High School. Graham holds an MA in Media-Assisted Language Teaching from the University of Brighton and a BA in Economic History from the University of Liverpool.
