Zachary Milleson

Zachary Milleson has a diverse range of work experience in various technology roles. Zachary is currently working at Chameleon Limited as the CTO and Co-Founder. Prior to this, they worked at AHEAD as a Senior Technical Architect, where they specialized in automation for private, public, and hybrid cloud initiatives. Zachary also worked at VMUG as a Leader, where they volunteered to help lead the Greater Omaha Area's VMware User Group. At Bank of the West, they served as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for maintaining and upgrading the bank's VMware and Cisco UCS infrastructure, as well as implementing automation and deploying a self-service portal. Zachary also worked at Jelecos as a Sr. Systems Engineer, leading an upgrade of the VMware vSphere/vCenter environment. Earlier in their career, at Interpublic Group of Companies, Zachary held multiple roles including Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, Server Systems Administrator, and System Ops, where they played a key role in building out a new enterprise-class datacenter and overseeing global virtual environments. Prior to that, they worked at Horseshoe Council Bluffs as a Support Specialist and at Focus Legal Solutions as an EDD Specialist/Junior Network Administrator.

Zachary Milleson completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Management of Information Systems at Bellevue University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate's degree in Computer Systems and Network Technology from Vatterott College from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Zachary has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Zachary became a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Messaging in March 2007. Zachary later achieved the VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 (VCP5) certification in November 2011.

Continuing their professional development, Zachary obtained several certifications in 2018, including the VMware Certified Professional 7 - Cloud Management and Automation, and the VMware Certified Advanced Professional 7 - Cloud Management and Automation Design. In 2019, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and obtained the vRO Livefire - Master certification from VMware.

Further expanding their expertise, Zachary obtained the Exam 533: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions certification from Microsoft in January 2018, and the HashiCorp Certified Partner Consultant (Terraform Intermediate) certification from HashiCorp in March 2019.

Most recently, Zachary achieved the Developing Executive Presence certification from LinkedIn in October 2022, and they are scheduled to obtain the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification in February 2023.
