Lisa K. Furuta

Lisa Furuta is currently the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Lisa has over 17 years of experience in marketing and communications, and has held leadership positions at several companies prior to their current role.

Lisa began their career in 1998 as an Account Supervisor at MVNP. Lisa then spent three years as the Director of Marketing at Prudential Locations before joining Grace Allaiter as a Partner in 2005. Lisa was with Grace Allaiter for three years before moving on to Core Group One, where they served as Vice President for nine years. In June 2009, Lisa became a Partner at CGO Green, where they spent six years before joining Chaminade University in 2015.

Lisa is a highly accomplished marketing and communications professional, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles. Lisa is a strategic thinker who is able to develop and implement creative solutions to achieve objectives. Lisa is an excellent communicator and relationship builder, which has helped their to achieve success in their career.

Lisa K. Furuta has an MBA from Shidler College of Business at University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a BA from School of Journalism and Communication at University of Oregon.
