Gretchen Lapp, PhD, possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and academia, currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff at the Champaign County Sheriff's Office since March 2021. In addition to this role, Gretchen has been an Adjunct Professor at Clark State Community College since March 2012. Previous positions include Legal Case Manager at Brecount Law Office, Deputy Sheriff at Logan County Sheriff's Office, Security Coordinator at Acrux Investigation Agency, Investigative Specialist at Logan County Children's Services, and Probation Officer at Clark County Juvenile Court. Gretchen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Urbana University.
