Jake McKinnon

Jake McKinnon has extensive experience in law enforcement and emergency services, currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff at Champaign County Sheriff's Office since January 2021. Previously, McKinnon worked as a Deputy Bailiff for Springfield City since March 2013 and held the position of Deputy Sheriff at Clark County Sheriff's Department from March 2010 to January 2021. Additionally, McKinnon has served in the Ohio Air National Guard as a Security Force since March 2006. Early career experiences include roles as a Level 1 Firefighter with Moorefield Township from April 2008 to September 2009 and as a Road Crew member. McKinnon holds an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Clark State College and a Level 1 Firefighter certificate from Sinclair Community College. Educational background includes graduation from Kenton Ridge High School in 2006.
