Rachel Ferrier

Rachel Ferrier is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience at Champaign Public Library since May 2015, progressing from a Page to a Library Associate, providing customer assistance and supporting various library operations. In addition to library work, Rachel is a freelance artist under the name Fairy Tree Studios, specializing in watercolor and handmade goods. Experience includes roles as a Senior Reader for Mason Jar Press and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, alongside a background in production management, marketing, and editorial work across various educational and artistic platforms. Rachel holds a Master's Degree in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MFA in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore.
