Champaign Unit 4 Schools
Alyssa Petruzzello is an experienced educator and fitness instructor with a strong background in elementary education and curriculum development. Since August 2014, Alyssa has served as a 1st Grade Teacher at Champaign Unit 4 Schools, following a comprehensive academic journey that includes a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, Language and Literacy, obtained from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same institution in 2014. In addition to teaching, Alyssa has been a Group Fitness Instructor at Mettler Center since May 2013, leading various fitness classes, and previously held the position of Head Swimming Coach at Indian Acres Swim Club from 2005 to 2014.
