Mariana Valente

Mariana Valente is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Champalimaud Foundation since January 2023, previously serving as a Lab Technician in Molecular Biology at SYNLAB Portugal, where tasks included handling COVID-19 and routine tests on various biological samples. Mariana Valente completed a Master Thesis on vancomycin resistance in Clostridioides difficile at ITQB-UNL and has a background in molecular biology through a volunteer internship at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. Mariana Valente holds a Master's degree in Medical Microbiology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and is currently pursuing clinical investigation certifications.
