Jay Escobara

Jay Escobara has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Jay started their career at Urban Outfitters as a Senior Design Manager for the Mens & Without Walls departments, where they contributed to setting seasonal fashion direction and incorporating trend-driven innovation. Jay then moved on to SAENAI as a Design Director for Ready-to-Wear, where they successfully guided the design process from concept to retail, resulting in the brand's breakthrough season and partnerships with Barney's New York. Jay then joined Ralph Lauren as a Design Director for Menswear, where they led the design staff, implemented original product direction, and achieved significant growth. After that, they worked at Pacific Sunwear as the Senior Director of Creative & Design for Menswear, and later joined Foot Locker as the Head of Product Design & Development, where they were responsible for leading the team and contributing to product strategy. Most recently, Jay has taken on leadership roles at Hanesbrands Inc. and Champion, where they held the position of Vice President of Design, overseeing global design operations.

Jay Escobara attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fashion Design.
