Ayelen Bulloj

Ayelen Bulloj is a seasoned scientific professional with extensive experience in cell culture and molecular biology. Currently serving as the Scientific Team Lead - Ex vivo at Champions Oncology, Inc. since February 2019, Ayelen oversees and executes the production, maintenance, and characterization of cells for in vivo models while supervising technical procedures and study protocols. Prior to this role, Ayelen was a Research Scientist at Fordham University, focusing on the molecular mechanisms underlying age-related macular degeneration and gaining expertise in experimental design and various molecular techniques. Earlier career experience includes research at Fundacion Instituto Leloir, investigating insulin metabolism related to Alzheimer's disease and conducting significant experiments in cell culture and gene cloning. Ayelen holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry and a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Buenos Aires.
