Maria Mancini

Chief of Scientific Operations at Champions Oncology

Maria Mancini is the current Chief of Scientific Operations at Champions Oncology. Maria has also previously served as the Director of Research at Biomodels LLC from September 2011 to March 2015. In this role, Maria collaborated with clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in designing preclinical studies in the areas of oncology, inflammation, and radiation toxicity.

Maria began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School/BIDMC from March 2007 to September 2011. In this role, they were responsible for conducting research and investigating new treatments for diseases. Maria has also advised a diverse portfolio of clients in all phases of preclinical development across multiple indications.

Maria Mancini has a post-doctoral fellowship in oncology and cancer biology at Harvard Medical School. Maria has a Ph.D. in biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology from the University of Maine. Maria has a B.S. in biochemistry and medical biology from the University of New England.

Maria Mancini works with Michael Ritchie - Chief Commercial Officer, David Miller - CFO.
