Melissa Carter

Melissa Carter has extensive experience in the fields of housing, community support, and customer service. Currently serving as the Homeownership Sales Coordinator at Champlain Housing Trust since July 2019, Melissa focuses on shared equity programs and affordable housing. Prior roles include over a decade of leadership with the National MS Society Vermont as Captain of Rick's Truck Crew and nearly two decades at RE/MAX North Professionals as a Licensed/Rental Agent. Melissa's earlier career included positions at the Burlington Free Press, Orleans-Essex Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, and Catholic Charities Wichita, where responsibilities ranged from customer service to event coordination and program management. Melissa holds a degree from Saint Michael's College (1989-1993) and has a solid foundation from North Country Union High School.
