Emily Mitchell is currently serving as a Board Member for the New England Local Masters Swim Club through United States Masters Swimming since September 2023. Since July 2022, Emily Mitchell has been an Art Teacher at Champlain Valley Union High School, following a previous role as Visual Art Teacher at the same institution from 2005 to 2013, where all AP Students achieved AP Credit from the College Board, with 80% earning a score of 4 or higher. Emily Mitchell is also an accomplished artist with a studio practice beginning in January 2012 and a strong emphasis on a playful and responsive approach to art-making. Educational qualifications include a Master of Art Education from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from Wheaton College Massachusetts, complemented by an exchange program experience at The Glasgow School of Art.
