Project Coordinator at Champlin Architecture

Mukta Rai Saxena has a strong background in architecture and design, with experience spanning over two decades. Mukta Rai began their career as an Architect at Design n design, where they worked on various architectural projects. From there, they joined DESIGN CELL as a Senior Designer, specializing in concept design, design development, and construction documentation. Mukta Rai also took on the role of Associate Director, where they were responsible for presales, bids and proposals, contract formulations, and project coordination.

After their time at DESIGN CELL, Mukta worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Planning, GD Goenka University. During this time, they shared their expertise and knowledge with students.

Mukta later joined OHM Advisors as a Project Coordinator, working on commercial and office projects, as well as designing landscape elements for institutional buildings.

Following their role at OHM Advisors, they joined WTA Architects as an International Architect. Here, they utilized their design skills to work on architecture and landscape projects, focusing on concept design, programming, and schematic design. Mukta Rai also had the opportunity to take on project management responsibilities, successfully implementing a fast-track project.

Mukta's most recent experience has been at Champlin Architecture. Mukta Rai first joined as a Co-Op Intern, primarily focusing on the programming and design of a religious building. Mukta Rai later returned to Champlin Architecture as a Project Coordinator, where they are currently working. As a Project Coordinator, they handle various tasks related to project management and coordination.

Throughout their career, Mukta has also been involved in academic work. Mukta Rai served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where they assisted in teaching courses on construction technology using Revit and architectural graphic techniques.

Overall, Mukta Rai Saxena has accumulated a diverse range of experience in architecture, design, project coordination, and academia. Mukta Rai brings a comprehensive skill set to their current role as an Associate AIA and LEED Green Associate.

Mukta Rai Saxena, Associate AIA, LEED® Green Associate™, has an extensive education history in the field of architecture. Mukta Rai earned their Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Their studies focused on various aspects of architecture.

In 1999, Mukta pursued further education at Ivy Tech Community College Columbus, where they completed a credit course in Architectural Drafting and Architectural CAD/CADD.

Additionally, in 1998, they briefly studied Elements of Interior Design at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.

Mukta's education began at De Nobili School from 1990 to 1992 and continued at Mount Carmel School Digwadih from 1977 to 1990, where they laid the foundation for their future academic pursuits.

To enhance their professional credentials, Mukta has obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they became a LEED Green Associate through the U.S. Green Building Council. In 2015, they completed courses in Disaster Preparedness and Understanding Research Methods, earning certificates from Coursera Verified Certificates.

Currently, Mukta is pursuing a Master's degree in Architecture at the University of Cincinnati, a program they began in 2021 and expects to complete in 2023.
