Jennifer Mann is an experienced facilities and operations manager with a strong background in engineering and research. At Chan Zuckerberg Biohub since October 2016, Jennifer has overseen facility operations for an 80,000-square-foot space while managing a team and coordinating safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include serving as Lab Manager at DeRisi Lab, where Jennifer managed lab operations and designed a new BSL-2 facility, and as a Research and Development Engineer at Nanocomp Technologies, where Jennifer led a team to develop innovative thermoelectric devices. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, Jennifer has engaged in freelance design and production work, showcasing problem-solving skills through various projects.
