Manuel Leonetti

Director Of Systems Biology & Sr. Group Leader at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub

Manuel Leonetti has a strong background in systems biology and group leadership. Manuel started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco in 2013, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they joined the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network as a Group Leader, and eventually became a Group Leader II (Associate Director) in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Systems Biology & Sr. Group Leader at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network.

Manuel Leonetti earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from Ecole normale supérieure in 2004. Manuel then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Interdisciplinary Life Sciences from the same institution, completing it in 2006. Following this, Manuel obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology, General from The Rockefeller University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012.
