Merlin Lange

Merlin Lange is an accomplished neuroscientist with extensive experience in research and education. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Scientist and Principal Project Lead at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network since December 2018, Merlin has previously held positions as Senior Scientist Project Lead and Research Scientist II within the same organization. Prior to this, Merlin was a Special Research Scientist at RIKEN's Brain Science Institute from 2014 to October 2018 and also served as a Lecturer in Neuroscience at both Juntendo University and Waseda University during the same period. Merlin's foundational research experience includes a PhD in Neuroscience from Paris-Sud University, and roles as a Consulting Scientist at ViewPoint Behavior Technology and a Graduate Intern at HelmholtzZentrum München. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in related fields from Paris-Sud University and Ecole Normale Supérieur, highlighting a solid background in molecular and cellular biology as well as cell signaling and neuroscience.
