Annette Torrence

Annette Torrence is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cyber security and program management. Currently, Annette serves as a Senior Technical Program Manager focusing on Partner Security and Infrastructure at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since November 2019. Prior to this role, Annette held the position of Director at Digital E1 from July 2017 to November 2019, and served as Principal Cyber Engineer at RAYTHEON SI Government Solutions, Inc. from June 2011 to February 2017. Annette's career began at the United States Department of Defense as a Cyber Security Engineer from June 2006 to June 2011, and includes roles as a Research Associate at the Naval Postgraduate School and a Graduate Intern with the Department of Defense. Annette also gained early experience as an Intern at the U.S. Department of State. Educationally, Annette holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rocky Mountain College.
