Cristina Huezo

Cristina Huezo is an accomplished leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Vice President at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since August 2015. Previous roles include Chair of the Board of Directors at Grantmakers for Education from October 2011 to October 2018, Vice President at Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation from 2010 to 2012, and Policy Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from 2006 to 2009. Cristina began their career as a State Policy Analyst at the National Council of La Raza from 2001 to 2004 and served as a Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellow at the California State Assembly in 2000-2001. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Public Policy with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Business Administration from UCLA.
