Ashwani Sharma

Ashwani Sharma is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within the aviation sector. Currently serving as Chairperson of the BOM branch of the Aeronautical Society of India since August 2024 and a Professor of Practice in Aerospace Engineering at Chandigarh University from May 2023, Ashwani is dedicated to advancing aeronautical knowledge and sharing practical expertise with students. Previous roles include Associate Director at 3D Graphy LLP and Aviation Consultant at EdgeVarsity Learning Systems Pvt Ltd, in addition to leadership positions at Air Costa, Air India Express, and Air India, where responsibilities included quality management and operational safety across multiple regions. An alumnus of Punjab Engineering College with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Ashwani has participated in numerous international aviation events, reflecting a commitment to professional development and industry advancement.
