Jessica Ryan

Jessica Ryan has over two decades of educational and leadership experience, currently serving as the Dean of Senior Years and Co-curricular Program Leader at Chanel College since July 2007. Jessica has held various significant roles, including Pastoral Coordinator at Chanel College, where responsibility included implementation of the College Mission Statement and representing the Principal in pastoral matters. Prior roles include Senior Biology Teacher at Newman College, Religious Education Coordinator (Acting) at Catholic Agricultural College, Indigenous Curriculum Coordinator at St Mary's College, and Acting Head of Department (Science) at St. Luke's College. Jessica's early career included positions as a Middle School Science Teacher and Environmental Health Manager at Jigalong Remote Community Inc. An extensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Aboriginal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Murdoch University, a Graduate Diploma of Education from Edith Cowan University, and a Master of Autism from the University of Wollongong, which is currently in progress.
