Daniel Whitelock

Daniel Whitelock is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Managing Counsel - Corporate at CHANEL since December 2021, focusing on global M&A, investments, commercial, and governance work. Prior to CHANEL, Daniel held the position of Commercial Counsel at Deliveroo (January 2020 - December 2021), overseeing a wide range of commercial and operational matters, including regulatory compliance and marketing initiatives. Daniel's earlier experience includes working as a Corporate Associate at Slaughter and May (September 2015 - January 2020), where responsibilities included UK and international M&A, IPOs, and governance matters. Additionally, Daniel served as a Legal Secondee at Barclays (September 2016 - June 2017), contributing to significant corporate restructuring. A brief stint as a Foreign Lawyer at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto and training at Slaughter and May has further enriched Daniel's expertise. Daniel holds a GDL/LPC from BPP Law School, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. from UCL.
