Danielle Zhu

Danielle Zhu has extensive experience in innovation and technology within the luxury goods and financial services sectors. At CHANEL, from May 2021 to June 2023, Danielle served as Senior Group Director for Incubation Programs & Partnerships in Global Open Innovation, focusing on new ventures, disruptive business models, and partnerships with academia and VCs. Prior roles at Tapestry included Senior Manager of Special Projects and Senior Manager of Strategy and Incubation, where Danielle concentrated on digital personalization and innovation for brands like Coach and Kate Spade. Danielle's background also includes experience at Goldman Sachs as a Product Manager for Strategy and Partnerships, where contributions were made to the development of MarcusPay, and at Memebox Corporation, where a successful US e-commerce platform and community app were launched. Danielle began a career at Oracle as a Hardware Engineer, developing algorithms and simulation software. Danielle holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech.
