Andrei Butucaru

Andrei Butucaru is an experienced Engine Calibration and Integration Engineer at Changan UK R&D Centre Limited, with a focus on optimizing engine performance since 2018. Prior to this role, Andrei worked at Ricardo, where expertise in fuel measurement, pressure measurement, and dynamometer control facilitated a smooth transition into basic tuning calibration for gasoline engines. At Groupe Renault, Andrei specialized in drivability and cold start calibration, addressing performance across varying temperature extremes. An internship at Porsche Inter Auto provided foundational skills in diagnostics and vehicle testing. Andrei holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Systems and Technologies in the Automobile Sector and a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
