Gill Black

Gill Black has a wealth of experience in finance and business consulting. Gill began their career in 1982 as a Senior Manager at KPMG in Dundee before transferring to KPMG Glasgow in 1986. In 1997, they became Finance Director at A&E Russell Ltd/Bunzl Russell. Gill then moved to akp Scotland Ltd as Finance Manager in 2009 before becoming Head of Finance & Co Secretary at GVA James Barr in 2011. In 2014, Gill took on the roles of Company Secretary and VP - HR and Legal at Collagen Solutions plc, as well as CFO & Company Secretary. In 2020, they became Operational Chief Financial Officer at Novel Technologies Holdings Limited and also worked as a Business Consultant, providing interim business and financial advisory services to growing SMEs. Gill is currently Financial Director at Changingday Ltd.

Gill Black has a long educational history. Gill began their studies in 1974 at Grove Academy in Dundee, where they completed their secondary education. From 1979 to 1982, they attended the University of Dundee and earned an MA in Accountancy and Economics with a distinction. From 1982 to 1984, they completed their CA at ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs.
