John Emmett

John Emmett has worked in the IT industry since 2016. John began with an internship at Pramerica as a QA Tester, where they shadowed experienced employees and learned a variety of hard and soft IT skills. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Storm Technology Ltd, where they were proficient in C#, JS, .Net and SQL Server. John was also given the opportunity to develop an app using a cross-platform mobile language (Xamarin) called Postaselfie. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Channel Mechanics, where they are developing a cloud-based Channel Enablement platform delivered as a low-cost SaaS model.

John Emmett has a diverse educational background. John completed a Higher Diploma in Software Development and Design from the University of Galway in 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Software Development Course from ETB in 2016. Before that, they obtained a Corporate Law (Law & Business) degree from the University of Galway in 2014. Additionally, they hold certifications from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, EXIN your ICT competence partner, and Oracle.
