Senior Technology Analyst at Channel Mechanics

Kieran Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kieran started their career in 1991 as a Product Development Engineer at Baxter Healthcare, where they were involved in process development and validation for new product introductions. Kieran then worked as a Process Engineer at Dell Computers, where they defined and executed processes for the Enterprise market.

In 1996, Walsh joined Nortel Networks as a Process Engineer and later became a Program Manager, responsible for managing technical and business projects in the supply chain data management space. Kieran implemented a new global product catalog, resulting in significant cost savings for the company.

In 2010, Walsh joined Avaya and held several senior management positions. As a Program Manager/ Business Analyst, they played a key role in a corporate multi-year transformation project, delivering substantial savings and improvements. Kieran then became the Senior Manager of Business Analysis, leading a global team and successfully delivering requirements for strategic IT projects. Later, as the Senior Manager of Process, Metrics, and Communications, they transformed the communications strategy and built an efficient process for executive briefing materials.

Most recently, Walsh joined Channel Mechanics in 2020 as a Senior Technology Analyst.

Kieran Walsh pursued their education in a chronological order. Kieran began their academic journey in 1987 and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Experimental Physics from the University of Galway in 1991. Kieran furthered their studies by enrolling in University College Dublin from 1994 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Industrial Engineering (MIE) degree with a specialization in Business and Industrial Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Kieran Walsh also acquired several certifications in the field of technology. In December 2013, they completed a course on Machine Learning from Coursera, followed by an Introduction to Data Science course from the same institution in June 2013. Furthermore, in March 2013, they obtained certification in Software as a Service from edX.
