Bill Malecki

Mr. Malecki has over 24 years of medical device R&D experience for companies ranging from Silicon Valley startups to overseas multinationals. He has been responsible for innovation on all levels from technical research to manufacturing process development to consumer experience testing. Mr. Malecki was previously a Senior Director at Philips Electronics’ Innohub in Singapore and the Director of Research and Development at both The Foundry and Hiemstra Product Development. Mr. Malecki is the founder of PrecisionMatters, a web-based B2B exchange for medical device companies and qualified suppliers. He has also held positions at Medivention, HeartPort, ACT Medical, and Exergen. Mr. Malecki has an excellent track record for capturing the voice of the consumer, integrating new technologies, creating valuable IP, and launching truly first-of-a-kind products. He is the first-named inventor on 8 of 14 issued U.S. patents. Mr. Malecki holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
