Ashley Hamer

Ashley Hamer is a seasoned specialist researcher and production assistant with extensive experience in the broadcast industry. Currently involved with Sandpaper Films on a BBC2 documentary and working freelance for Channel 4 News, Ashley also contributes to Evan Williams Productions for the Australian current affairs program Dateline. Previous roles include Assistant News Editor at ITN Source, research assistant internships at True North Productions Ltd and Quicksilver Media, as well as an editorial assistant and photographer internship at The Independent. Ashley Hamer began a journalism journey as a journalist for Colombia Reports and holds a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of the Arts London, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish from the University of Bristol. Additionally, Ashley completed a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at the University of the Arts London.
