Cimran Shah

Cimran Shah is a seasoned network executive currently serving as the Commissioning Editor for Reality and Entertainment at Channel 4 since March 2021, where responsibilities include commissioning original intellectual property and overseeing flagship brands such as The Great British Bake Off, The Last Leg, and Taskmaster's New Year's Treat. Prior to this role, Cimran produced over 120 episodes of The Last Leg as Series Producer from January 2018 to March 2021, earning nominations for two BAFTAs and winning an RTS. Additional experience includes producing “The Commonwealth Kid” for BBC One and various roles at Mentorn Media and other prominent production companies, contributing to numerous notable programs. Cimran holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Warwick and A Levels in History, English, and Politics from King's College School Wimbledon.
