Khalid Hayat has a diverse work experience in the media and strategy sector. Khalid is currently the Director of Strategy & Consumer Insight at Channel 4. Prior to this, Khalid worked as a Director of TMT Strategy at Monitor Deloitte. Khalid also served as a Director of TMT Strategy and Transactions at EY, where they successfully originated and grew a consulting proposition for the media sector. Khalid has held leadership roles at ITV, including Controller of Policy and Regulatory Strategy, and at Ofcom as Principal of Strategy. Khalid began their career at PwC as a Manager of Strategy & Economics and also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge.

Khalid Hayat has a strong educational background. Khalid obtained an Executive Leadership Development Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2017-2018. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc in Finance from London Business School from 2003 to 2005. In 1998-1999, they completed an MA in International Political Economy at the University of Warwick. Additionally, they hold an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, which they achieved from 1995 to 1998. Khalid's education began at Merchant Taylors' School, Northwood, where they completed their pre-university studies.
