Derek Smith

Derek Smith is the current Vice President of Global Sales at ChannelAssist. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at ModoHR Technologies, which they co-founded in January 2020. Before that, Derek was the General Manager of North America at Xref from July 2017 to January 2020. Derek has also held positions as the Senior Vice President at Sterling from December 2012 to June 2017, the Managing Director of Canada at Apple from March 2009 to September 2012, and the Vice President and General Manager at Hewlett-Packard from May 2004 to March 2009.

Derek Smith completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Concordia University. Derek then completed a DEC in Political Science and Government at Dawson College. Derek has also completed a course in Financial Accounting at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School.
