Andre Chang

Andre Chang has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Andre most recently worked at CHAOS as the VP of ML Infra starting from February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Micron Technology from August 2019 to February 2023. Before that, Andre worked at FWDNXT as a Lead Compiler Engineer and Co-founder from September 2017 to August 2019. Andre also worked as a Research Assistant at Purdue University from August 2014 to July 2019, where they focused on research and implementation of Recurrent Neural Networks hardware on FPGA. Additionally, they had a short stint at Sonoscan Inc in 2015 as a Research Engineer, where they conducted research and development on a Bluetooth LE device.

Andre Chang has a strong educational background in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, specifically focusing on machine learning. Andre earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in machine learning from Purdue University, where they studied from 2016 to 2019.
