Steve Hampton

Steve Hampton possesses extensive experience in industrial machine design, motorsports engineering, and fabrication, currently serving as President at CHAP, LLC since May 2002. Prior to this role, Steve was a Product Manager at Hartness International and held the position of R&D & Testing Chief Engineer at EZGO/Textron. Steve's career began at Michelin (M.A.R.C.) as Fleet Maintenance Manager, where responsibilities included vehicle dynamics and modification engineering. An alumnus of North Carolina State University, Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.
