Carrie Hotchkiss is an experienced educator with a background in both Montessori and traditional teaching methods. Since June 2015, Carrie has served as a 4th grade teacher at Chapin School in Princeton, NJ. Prior experience includes a role as Lower Elementary program coordinator at Princeton Montessori School, where Carrie developed and implemented curriculum aligned with Montessori and Common Core standards from September 2008 to August 2014. Carrie also worked as a consultant for ETC Montessori, creating instructional guides, and held positions as a substitute teacher across various schools. With an Elementary I Montessori Credential from Princeton Center Teacher Education and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Belhaven University, Carrie possesses a strong educational foundation complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies from Smith College.
